Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Location: Ten Broeck Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing, 1 Commons Drive, Lake Katrine, NY 12449

Join our team! We are seeking Full-Time and Part-Time Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for day (7a-3p), evening (3p-11p), overnight (11p-7a), and double weekend shifts. We offer a $3,000 sign-on bonus for full-time and $1,500 for part-time positions.

Essential Functions:
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, nutrition, mobility, grooming, and incontinence care.
  • Provide care for residents with special needs.
  • Report any mistreatment, neglect, or abuse.
  • Accurately document resident care using computerized records.
  • Monitor and report changes in resident condition.
  • Respond promptly to call bells.
  • Assist with post-mortem care and vital signs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized unit.
  • Ensure residents are dressed, out of bed, and participating in activities.
  • Support residents during activities and provide assistance as needed.
Physical Requirements:
  • Mobility throughout the unit.
  • Lift, push, pull, and move at least 50 lbs.
  • Handle equipment and assist with resident transfers.
  • Use computerized systems for documentation.

Pay Range: $18.00 - $22.00/hour

Job Summary:

The CNA assists nurses in providing daily care, observing resident rights, and supporting rehabilitation efforts. Dependability and punctuality are essential.

Qualifications:
  • Current valid CNA license in the state of practice.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
