Job Description

Birchwood Health Care Center, a Lifespark Skilled Nursing Community, is seeking dedicated and passionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team.

Located in Forest Lake near North Shore Dr, Birchwood Health Care Center has been supporting seniors since 1979. We serve residents requiring TCU (Transitional Care Unit) Care and Long-Term Care. We are part of Senior Care Communities, a local non-profit organization committed to supporting seniors.

Schedule and Compensation

Schedule: On-call for all shifts

Wage: $21.00-26.00/hour

Shift Differential: $1.50 for PMs & $2.00 for NOCs

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents of all genders, recognizing individual needs, encouraging independence, and treating each resident with respect and dignity.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transferring, mobility, and other personal care needs as outlined in the care plan.
• Engage residents in meaningful conversations and provide attentive, compassionate care.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in an assisted living community is preferred.
• Completion of MN CNA program and active registration on MN registry.
• Strong interest in healthcare.
• Positive, compassionate attitude.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
