Shift: Full-Time, 40 hrs. M-F Days, evenings (depending on availability)

Work Location: University of Miami Hospital & Clinics - UHealth SoLe' Mia (Aventura, FL)

The University of Miami UHealth at SoLé Mia opening September 2025, will bring high-quality academic medicine to North Miami, Aventura, and surrounding communities. It will feature specialties including NCI–designated Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, Desai Sethi Urology Institute, and top-ranked neurology and neurosurgery programs.

Core Job Functions

• Provide personal hygiene care, including bedpans, baths, shampoos, and shaves, and assist with showers.
• Assist with meals, feeding, ambulation, positioning, and providing water and nourishment.
• Administer enemas, dressings, and apply restraints as needed.
• Perform urine testing, specimen collection, and post-mortem care.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and call lights.
• Maintain a safe environment and transport patients and equipment.
• Report patient conditions to nurses for assessment.
• Record food, liquid intake/output, and vital signs.
• Assist with walking, exercising, and mobility.
• Adhere to policies and safeguard assets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in relevant specialty or field.
• 0-1 year of relevant experience.
• Skills in accuracy, organization, confidentiality, and teamwork.
