The Village at Orchard Ridge, part of National Lutheran Communities & Services, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a full-time Day shift. You will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor health, and support independence with compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia CNA certification in good standing.

• Able to assist with transfers and daily activities.
• Previous SNF experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor and record vital signs
• Support safe mobility and transfers
• Prepare and serve meals according to individual needs
• Communicate clear and compassionately with residents, families, and team members
• Observe and promptly report any changes in residents’ conditions

What We’re Looking For

• Active CNA certification in Virginia in good standing
• Genuine passion for providing compassionate, resident-focused care
• Strong teamwork skills and a positive, professional attitude
• Commitment to a respectful, inclusive, and safe environment
• Dependable, patient, and physically able to assist with transfers
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a supportive community
• Previous experience working in a skilled nursing facility is a plus
