Job summary

The Arbor Company in West Chester, PA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, building meaningful relationships with residents and their families.

Starting pay is $20.00/hour with shift differentials up to $22+/hour. Part-time positions offer a $500 sign-on bonus and options to earn more through evening/weekend boosts. A DCSC training or certification may be completed before start.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania CNA certification is required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• PA Direct Care Staff Certification (DCSC) must be obtained before start date if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility and daily living activities.
• Monitor residents and report changes in condition to the nursing team.
• Promote resident independence, comfort and dignity.
• Encourage participation in daily activities and social engagement.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
• Collaborate with nurses and fellow caregivers to deliver exceptional care.

Education

Active Pennsylvania CNA certification

PA Direct Care Staff Certification (DCSC) before start

Starting Pay: $20.00/hour (higher based on experience)

Sign-On Bonus

• $1,000 for Full-Time
• $500 for Part-Time

Part-Time CNAs

• 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Maximize Your Earnings

• 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Full-Time): +$1/hour
• Weekend Shift: +$2/hour
• Work BOTH evenings and weekends: Earn +$3/hour in shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• High School Diploma or GED
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional resident care
• Previous experience in senior living, long-term care, rehabilitation, assisted living, memory care, or skilled nursing is preferred but not required.

Pennsylvania Direct Care Staff Certification (DCSC)

• If you do not currently hold an active Pennsylvania CNA certification, you must obtain the Direct Care Staff Certification (DCSC) before your start date.
• The DCSC training course and competency exam are completely FREE and can be completed before employment begins.
