Job summary

Ayden Healthcare of Waterville is seeking State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNA) for full-time and part-time day and night shifts. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered for full-time staff. Shifts run 12 hours from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM.

Responsibilities include providing basic patient care under nursing staff, assisting with activities of daily living, documenting vital signs, and reporting observations to nurses. Ohio STNA certification is required.

Qualifications

• Must possess an Ohio State Tested Nursing Assistant Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under nursing staff supervision.
• Assist with feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming and turning patients.
• Move patients and change linens as required.
• Record vital signs (temperature, BP, pulse, respiration).
• Gather information from caregivers, nurses or physicians about patient condition and care plans.
• Observe patients for symptoms requiring medical attention.
• Report observations to nurses or physicians.

6:30 AM - 6:30 PM / 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM

STNA State Tested Nursing Assistant Responsibilities include:

State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) you will provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff. You will be responsible for performing a variety of duties such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, moving patients, or changing linens. Additional STNA responsibilities include:

• Ensuring resident medical needs are being addressed,

• Providing physical support to assist patients to perform daily living activities,

• Ensuring patient receives appropriate nutritional needs based on care plans,

• Recording vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration rate,

• Gathering information from caregivers, nurses, or physicians about patient condition, treatment plans, or appropriate activities,

• Observing or examining patients to detect symptoms that may require medical attention,

• Documenting or otherwise reporting observations of patient behavior, complaints, or physical symptoms to nurses.

State Tested Nursing Assistant STNA Qualifications:
