Job summary

Ayden Healthcare of Toledo is seeking State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNA) for full-time and part-time roles. We offer a $5,000 sign-on bonus for full-time STNAs and 8-hour daytime and overnight shifts: 6AM-2PM, 2PM-10PM, and 10PM-6AM.

As an STNA, you will provide basic patient care under nursing staff, including feeding, bathing, dressing, moving patients, and recording vital signs. Ohio certification is required. Daily pay is available to all employees.

Qualifications

• Must possess an Ohio State Tested Nursing Assistant Certification.
• Full-Time and Part-Time positions available with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for full-time STNAs.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff.
• Perform duties such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, moving patients, or changing linens.
• Record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration).
• Gather information from caregivers, nurses, or physicians about patient condition and care plans.
• Observe or examine patients to detect symptoms requiring medical attention.
• Document observations of patient behavior, complaints, or physical symptoms to nurses.

• Ensuring resident medical needs are being addressed,
• Providing physical support to assist patients to perform daily living activities,
• Ensuring patient receives appropriate nutritional needs based on care plans,
• Recording vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration rate,
• Gathering information from caregivers, nurses, or physicians about patient condition, treatment plans, or appropriate activities,
• Observing or examining patients to detect symptoms that may require medical attention,
• Documenting or otherwise reporting observations of patient behavior, complaints, or physical symptoms to nurses.
