Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our home care team serving South Dakota communities.

You will provide hands-on care to residents in long-term care facilities and assisted living communities, assisting with daily living activities and monitoring health status under licensed supervision. We offer a flexible schedule (PRN, part-time, or full-time), weekly pay at $24–$26 per hour, and benefits including Health Insurance and 401(k) eligibility

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant certification in South Dakota, or the ability to obtain certification through reciprocity or endorsement, as applicable
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding and personal hygiene
• Monitoring and reporting changes in residents’ conditions, behaviors, or overall well‑being to the appropriate nursing staff
• Measuring and recording vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respirations, as assigned
• Assisting with meals, feeding, and hydration while following individual care plans and dietary requirements
• Providing emotional support and promoting residents’ comfort, dignity, independence, and quality of life
• Following infection prevention protocols, facility policies, and established safety procedures.
• Documenting care provided and communicating important information to nursing staff and other members of the healthcare team
• Performing other duties as assigned within the scope of CNA certification and facility requirements

Certified Nursing Assistant Responsibilities

Previous CNA Experience Preferred

• Must meet applicable facility‑specific requirements and complete all required pre‑employment screenings and onboarding procedures.
