Job summary

BrightStar Care of Maple Grove & Andover is seeking compassionate CNAs to provide in-home care across our service areas. You will assist with personal care, monitor health, and support families under RN supervision, promoting comfort and independence.

Qualifications

• Current MN CNA certification and at least 1 year of home health/assisted living experience.
• If you are an HHA with 3 years experience in home health, assisted living, or similar settings, this applies.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Clean driving record; eligible for driving tasks.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Geriatric and Alzheimer's/Dementia experience preferred.
• Able to travel within our covering territories as listed.

Responsibilities

• Drive to client homes.
• Assist with personal care and daily living tasks (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting).
• Monitor vital signs and support assessments under RN supervision.
• Report client condition changes.
• Follow individualized care plans, assist with meals, housekeeping, errands, and transportation.
• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to enhance patient well-being.

BrightStar CNA Job Responsibilities:

BrightStar CNA Qualifications:

• Current In-State (MN) CNA Certification (Preferred) + A minimum of one year of experience in home health, assisted living, or similar settings.
• If you are an HHA (no CNA), A minimum of three years of experience in home health, assisted living, or similar settings is required
• A Valid Driver's License (Permits not accepted)
• Clean Driving Record (Feel free to ask if you are eligible)
• Must be at least 18 yrs. or older
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Geriatric experience and Alzheimer's / Dementia experience
• Able to travel within our covering territories (as listed in post)
• Empathy for the needs of the client
• A heartfelt desire to help others with a positive and respectful attitude
