Job summary

Goldwater Care is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care in a 12-hour shift setting in Illinois. Duties include assisting with personal hygiene, monitoring vitals, and documentation, while adhering to state regulations and facility policies.

The role requires current Illinois CNA certification and CPR, with a strong emphasis on maintaining resident stability and compassionate care during both day and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Must be able to work 12 hours a shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance in personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths.
• Maintain resident stability by checking vital signs and weight; recording intake and output information.
• Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Adhere to professional standards, company policies and procedures, and all federal, state, and local requirements, including JCAHO standards, when applicable.
