Lillian Carter Health Center is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our compassionate team in Plains, GA. The CNA will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, assist with activities of daily living, and help monitor vital signs and overall resident well-being.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
• Active CNA certification in good standing.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift, move, and support residents safely.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure).
• Assist with resident mobility, turning, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to residents and families.
• Assist in documentation of care and report changes to nursing staff.
• Support care team in developing and implementing individualized care plans.
