Job summary

Pennypack Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our care team. We offer full-time, part-time, and per diem roles across day, evening, and night shifts in a skilled nursing setting.

CNAs provide essential daily care, monitor residents, and collaborate with nurses to ensure safety, dignity, and comfort. Competitive pay based on experience, with shift differentials and benefit options available.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in the applicable state.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus, but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Reliable attendance and commitment to teamwork and resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Support residents during meals and encourage proper nutrition and hydration.
• Measure and document vital signs, and report any changes in condition to nursing staff.
• Help with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation using proper safety techniques.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and services provided.
• Follow infection control, safety, and facility protocols at all times.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Collaborate with nurses and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure quality resident outcomes.
