Successful candidates will provide services necessary to perform onsite in inpatient units, outpatient clinics, and community living centers to eligible beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs. The role involves providing nursing assistant care similar to what would be provided in a state‑of‑the‑art civilian medical treatment facility and meeting or exceeding national standards.

Qualifications

• Current license as a nursing assistant in any U.S. state, territory, or commonwealth, or the District of Columbia when services are performed onsite on VA property.
• BLS or ACLS certification (AHA preferred).
• Technical proficiency in the skills required by the government, including fluency in speaking, understanding, reading, and writing English.
• Completion of an accredited training course in nursing through the State of California.
• Two years of recent experience.
• Three professional references.

Pay & Hours

• Multiple shifts available: 07:00 AM–03:30 PM; 07:30 AM–04:00 PM; 08:00 AM–04:30 PM; 10:30 AM–07:00 PM; 11:30 AM–08:00 PM; 12:30 PM–09:00 PM; 03:30 PM–12:00 AM.
• Pay: $20.38 per hour plus $4.93 per hour Health & Welfare.
