JOB DETAILS:

- Work location: Onsite at 1700 Pine Street, Norristown, PA 19401
- Shift time: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
- Break/Meal: 30 minutes
- Shift Details: Monday to Friday availability
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 30 hours/week
- Overtime Hours: If needed by the Facility
- Contract duration: 7 weeks
- Bonus: To be discussed with Agency Recruiter
POSITION SUMMARY:
- Under the direction of the Center Nurse Executive/Infection Preventionist/Designee, the CNA delivers efficient and effective nursing care, achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction.
- The CNA performs patient care activities and non-professional services essential for patient comfort and needs.
- May be responsible for specimen collection for POC testing, where permitted by scope of practice and regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Provides patient care ensuring safety and comfort, including assisting with ADLs, recording vital signs, aiding ambulation, positioning, and personal belongings management.
- Assists with treatments, procedures, making beds, transporting patients, and ensuring readiness for rehab therapy.
- Participates in care planning, performs skin treatments, applies dressings, feeds patients, and records intake/output.
- Uses Point Click Care system, maintains infection control, reports patient condition changes, and assists with discharge and orientation of new staff.
- Maintains confidentiality, collaborates with departments, and participates in quality activities.
EDUCATIONAL/VOCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Completion of a state-approved CNA program.
- High school diploma or equivalency preferred; must be able to communicate effectively in English.
- Verification of TST required; will be administered on-site if needed.
- Basic computer knowledge or willingness to learn; ongoing education required to maintain certification.
CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT SPECIMEN COLLECTOR (where permitted):
- Collect nasal specimens following procedures, maintain specimen integrity, and complete documentation.
- Complete Point-of-Care testing training and competency.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience as a Lab tech, enrolled in nursing school, or related scope of practice.
- Must be fit tested for N95/KN95 respirator.
