Join us as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Monrovia Gardens Healthcare Center

We are currently hiring full-time CNAs for all shifts, including urgent openings for all shifts.

Position Summary

The CNA provides routine daily nursing care to residents according to their assessment plans, complying with federal, state, and local standards, and following supervisor directives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Answering call lights
2. Providing nursing care respecting residents' privacy
3. Making residents comfortable (e.g., assisting with bed, providing water)
4. Assisting with feeding residents, including cutting food and spoon feeding if needed
5. Helping with grooming, showers, or sponge baths
6. Properly lifting and transferring residents between wheelchairs and beds
7. Assisting residents with sitting, standing, and walking
8. Transporting residents to dining areas and activities, then returning them to their rooms
9. Reporting changes in residents' conditions promptly to the Nurse Supervisor
10. Maintaining confidentiality of residents' files and data per HIPAA standards
11. Following all facility policies, including confidentiality and infection control
12. Reporting occupational exposures immediately
13. Performing other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

• Completion of CNA training from an accredited school
• Valid CNA certificate number
• CPR certification
• Some experience helpful; training will be provided
