Job summary

Trustwell Living, LLC in Mansfield, OH seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to support Resident care in a home-like setting. You will assist with ADLs, mobility, and daily tasks, preserve dignity, and report changes to the nurse and supervisor.

Completion of CNA program with current license is required; CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. A flexible schedule and supportive team create a positive work environment for compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant program with current license.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• 18-24 months experience in a similar position.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to and conveys philosophy of supporting dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for Resident.
• Receives and gives report from the previous shift.
• Reviews assignments with Designated Supervisor.
• Reads the staff communication records and maintains familiarity with Resident records as required.
• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living, ADL's, environmental orientation, assistance with other care while encouraging self-care and independence.
• Provides services as indicated on Resident service plans, including bathing, toileting, transfer and mobility assistance.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and follows infection control procedures.
• Maintains clean, neat, safe environment for Residents, staff, and visitors.
• Observes changes in Resident status, needs, or preferences and communicates them appropriately.
• Records Resident information as required.
• Notifies nurse or designated agent of Resident status/change as appropriate.

Training And Experience

Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant program with current license. 18-24 months experience in a similar position, CPR/First Aid certified preferred.

Education

Attendance at mandatory in-service training. Maintain CPR/First Aid Certification. Meet in-service training hours required for job classification and position.
