Job summary

Trustwell Living, LLC is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team in a full-time role. You will support residents with daily activities, communicate status updates, and participate in care planning to promote dignity and independence.

Responsibilities include documenting reports, following infection control procedures, and maintaining a safe, homelike environment. A CNA license and CPR/First Aid are preferred along with 18–24 months of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant program with current license.
• 18–24 months experience in a similar position.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Attendance at mandatory in-service training.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to the philosophy of supporting dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for Residents.
• Receives and gives report from the previous shift.
• Reviews assignments with Designated Supervisor.
• Reads staff communications and maintains familiarity with Resident records as required.
• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living, ADLs, environmental orientation, assistance with other care while encouraging self-care and independence.
• Provides services as indicated on Resident service plans, including bathing assistance, toileting assistance, transfer, and mobility assistance.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and follows infection control procedures.
• Maintains clean, neat, comfortable, safe environment for Residents, staff, and visitors.
• Observes changes in Resident status, needs, or preferences and communicates them appropriately.
• Adheres to all established policies and procedures.
• Records Resident information as required.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and adheres to procedures for fire, life safety, disaster, security, work, safety, and other emergency situations.
• Notifies nurse, and/or designated agent(s) of Resident status/change as appropriate.

Training And Experience

Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant program with current license. 18 – 24 months experience in a similar position, CPR/First Aid certified preferred.

Education

Attendance at mandatory in-service training. Maintain CPR/First Aid Certification. Meet in-service training hours required for job classification and position.
