Job summary

Brighton Hospice in Minnesota is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our caring team in Eagan. You will provide direct patient care under nursing leadership, support comfort, dignity, and individualized care plans in a hospice setting.

The role emphasizes teamwork with nurses, social workers, and aides, travel as needed within service area, adherence to safety and infection-control policies, and ongoing opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• CNA certification in Minnesota is required.
• Compassionate and dedicated to improving patients' quality of life.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Nurses, Social Workers, Chaplains, and Aide Leadership.
• Willingness to travel with reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under nursing leadership to hospice patients per assessments and care plans.
• Collaborate with the hospice care team to meet patient needs, promote comfort and dignity.
• Report changes in condition to the nursing leadership.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, safety guidelines, and infection-control practices.

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) works under the direction of the nursing leadership team to provide compassionate care to assigned hospice patients in accordance with their assessments and individualized care plans. The CNA Collaborates with the hospice care team to meet patient needs, promote comfort and dignity, and report changes in condition. The CNA follows all Company policies, procedures, safety guidelines, and infection-control practices.

• Comfortable working one-on-one with patients while being supported by a dedicated care team

• Current CNA certification in the state(s) of Minnesota
