Job summary

Emerald Healthcare in Grand Island, NE is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Nursing team. You will provide high-quality patient care, support residents with daily activities, and help maintain a safe and compassionate environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, mobility, vital signs, documentation, and collaboration with nurses. CNA certification in NE required; prior SNF experience preferred. Shifts available and full-time position.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant with Nebraska certification.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Ability to lift and move residents and perform physical tasks involved in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Help residents with mobility including transferring, positioning, and safe ambulation.
• Take and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration).
• Document all care provided and changes in residents' condition in electronic health records.
• Report changes or concerns to the nursing staff promptly.
• Assist with feeding, meal preparation, and providing companionship to residents.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Collaborate with nurses and physicians to ensure cohesive care.

Shifts Available; 6:00am-2pm, 6:00am-6pm, 2:00pm-10:00pm every other weekend

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing facility team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Resident Care: Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Mobility Assistance: Help residents with mobility issues, including transferring, positioning, and ambulating safely.
• Vital Signs Monitoring: Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
• Documentation: Accurately document all care provided, changes in residents’ conditions, and any other pertinent information in electronic health records.
• Communication: Report any changes in residents’ conditions or concerns to the nursing staff or supervisor in a timely manner.
• Supportive Tasks: Assist with feeding, preparing meals, and providing companionship to enhance residents’ quality of life.
• Infection Control: Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses and physicians, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care.
