Job summary

Emerald Healthcare in Lincoln, NE is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Nursing team on the overnight shift from 10:30pm to 6:30am. You will provide compassionate resident care, ensuring comfort, safety, and well-being.

You will assist with daily living activities, mobility, vital signs, and documentation, while collaborating with nurses and physicians to deliver cohesive care in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in Nebraska required.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Ability to lift and move residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Help residents with mobility issues, including transferring, positioning, and ambulating safely.
• Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
• Accurately document all care provided, changes in residents’ conditions, and any other pertinent information in electronic health records.
• Report any changes in residents’ conditions or concerns to the nursing staff or supervisor in a timely manner.
• Assist with feeding, preparing meals, and providing companionship to enhance residents’ quality of life.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses and physicians, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care.
