Job summary

Ayden Healthcare of Wauseon is seeking a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) for the Weekend Warrior Day Shift. This role features 12-hour shifts and responsibilities including assisting residents with daily activities, feeding, bathing, and mobility under the direction of nursing staff.

The STNA will record vital signs, communicate with caregivers and physicians, and report changes in patient condition. Ohio STNA certification is required. Benefits include daily pay options and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

Ayden Healthcare of Wauseon is currently seeking State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNA) Weekend Warrior Day Shift.

12 Hour Shifts

STNA State Tested Nursing Assistant Responsibilities include:

State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) you will provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff. You will be responsible for performing a variety of duties such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, moving patients, or changing linens. Additional STNA responsibilities include:

• Ensuring resident medical needs are being addressed,
• Providing physical support to assist patients to perform daily living activities,
• Ensuring patient receives appropriate nutritional needs based on care plans,
• Recording vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration rate,
• Gathering information from caregivers, nurses, or physicians about patient condition, treatment plans, or appropriate activities,
• Observing or examining patients to detect symptoms that may require medical attention,
• Documenting or otherwise reporting observations of patient behavior, complaints, or physical symptoms to nurses.

State Tested Nursing Assistant STNA Qualifications:
