A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a state-certified professional who provides direct, hands-on care to individuals. They assist in the direct healthcare of individuals under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, checking vital signs and blood sugars, catheter care, specimen collection, obtaining heights and weights, assisting with feeding, positioning, lifting and transferring patients, maintaining inventory of medical supplies, and cleaning equipment.

PA CNA Certification with a minimum of 1 year of experience in long-term care. CPR certification is preferred.
