Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility using tools like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices

• Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates, ensuring accurate medical documentation

• Support medication administration under supervision and ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality

• Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or memory impairments through tailored engagement strategies

• Collaborate with nursing staff to deliver comprehensive care in diverse settings such as medical-surgical units, ICU, emergency departments, or behavioral health units

• Maintain aseptic techniques during procedures like catheter care and wound management to prevent infections

• Document patient interactions accurately using electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner and update medical records promptly

Skills

• Proven experience working in long-term care facilities, hospitals (including ICU and trauma centers), assisted living communities, or home health environments

• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as PCC, Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for efficient medical documentation

• Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy relevant to patient care across pediatric to geriatric populations

• Ability to perform phlebotomy procedures and assist with basic life support (BLS) certifications

• Experience caring for individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs

• Excellent communication skills for effective patient service and interdisciplinary teamwork

• Knowledge of infection control practices including aseptic techniques and handling infectious diseases
