Job summary

Right at Home Palm Beach is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team. This position requires a Level 2 background screening and involves assisting patients with daily living activities, mobility, meal prep, and light housekeeping in clients' homes.

Qualifications

• CNA license required.
• Valid driver license or state photo ID required.
• Second form of ID (SSN, Passport, etc.) required.
• Auto insurance required.
• TB or Chest X-ray required.
• Level 2 Fingerprint Background check.
• Alzheimer's, HIV, and assisting with medications CEU required.
• 1 letter of recommendation required.

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care activities to assist the patient with activities of daily living (hygiene, ambulation, dressing, shaving).
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Accompanies patient to errands or medical appointments.
• Performs housekeeping tasks (vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, dishes, changing bed linens, laundry, bathroom).
• Performs patient-specific activities (e.g., hospice support, exercises, incontinence care).
• Uses lifting devices such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts.

Essential Functions:

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to):Personal Hygiene
• Ambulation/Transfers
• Dressing/Shaving
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
• Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom
• Performs patient-specific activities. These could include (but are not limited to):
• Providing hospice supportive care
• Assisting with exercises
• Incontinence care
• Use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts

Preferred Experience in:

• Hoyer lift
• Personal care
• Range of Motion Exercises
• Companionship
• Light cleaning
