Job summary

Saint Therese in Ohio is seeking Part-Time CNAs (STNA) to provide direct, compassionate care for residents in a long-term care setting. Shifts are 7:00pm–7:00am, with 48 hours per two-week pay period, including every other weekend and holiday.

Pay ranges from $16.00 to $22.00 per hour, with same-day pay available. Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily living activities, monitoring vitals, and documenting care while maintaining infection control.

Qualifications

• Current State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification for Ohio.
• Experience as STNA/CNA in long-term care or senior living is preferred.
• Ability to follow health regulations and perform post-offer screenings.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Provide direct, hands-on care per individualized care plans.
• Assist residents with daily living activities: bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility.
• Monitor and document vital signs and care activities.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times.
• Respond promptly to resident needs with dignity and independence.
• Collaborate with nurses and care team for continuity of care.
• Contribute to a positive, resident-centered community with strong staff-to-resident ratios.

Overview

We have 2 openings for Part-Time | Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).

Shift: 7:00pm - 7:00am | 48 hours per two-week pay period. This position includes working every other weekend and every other holiday.

Schedules Available: Week 1: Thu, Sat / Week 2: Sun, Fri | Week 1: Mon, Wed / Week 2: Mon, Thu

Pay: $16.00-22.00/hour; Same Day Pay Available

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, hands-on care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Accurately monitor and document vital signs and resident care activities
• Follow infection control protocols and safety standards at all times
• Respond promptly to resident needs while promoting dignity, comfort, and independence
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care
• Contribute to a positive, culture-driven community with strong staff-to-resident ratios

Minimum Qualifications

• Current State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification or Certified Nursing Assistant certification in good standing with the Ohio Nurse Aide Registry
• Previous experience working as an STNA or CNA in a long-term care or senior living setting
• Ability to comply with all federal, state, and local health regulations, including required post-offer screenings (drug screening, criminal background check, and reference screening)
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and accurately complete assigned tasks
• Demonstrated good judgment, integrity, and respect for others
• Awareness of and sensitivity to residents' individual needs, interests, and abilities
• Strong commitment to compassionate, resident-centered customer service
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including assisting with resident transfers (50+ lbs.)
