Job summary

Saint Therese is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide hands-on care to residents during the 7:00 PM–7:00 AM shift, totaling 72 hours per two-week pay period. You will support daily living activities, monitor resident health, and document vital signs while following safety and infection control protocols.

Qualifications

• STNA certification current and in good standing
• Experience as STNA/CNA in long-term care or senior living setting
• Ability to comply with federal, state, and local health regulations including screenings
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks accurately
• Good judgment, integrity, and respect for others
• Awareness of residents’ individual needs and abilities
• Commitment to compassionate, resident-centered customer service
• Ability to assist with resident transfers (50+ lbs)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, hands-on care to residents per individualized care plans
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility)
• Monitor and document vital signs and care activities
• Follow infection control protocols and safety standards
• Respond promptly to resident needs while promoting dignity and independence
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care
• Contribute to a positive culture with strong staff-to-resident relationships

We have 2 openings for Part-Time | Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Shift: 7:00pm – 7:00am | 48 hours per two-week pay period. This position includes working every other weekend and every other holiday.

Schedules Available: Week 1: Thu, Sat / Week 2: Sun, Fri | Week 1: Mon, Wed / Week 2: Mon, Thu

Pay: $16.00-22.00/hour *Same Day Pay Available*

Minimum Qualifications

• Current State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification or Certified Nursing Assistant certification in good standing with the Ohio Nurse Aide Registry
• Previous experience working as an STNA or CNA in a long‑term care or senior living setting
• Ability to comply with all federal, state, and local health regulations, including required post‑offer screenings (drug screening, criminal background check, and reference screening)
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and accurately complete assigned tasks
• Demonstrated good judgment, integrity, and respect for others
• Awareness of and sensitivity to residents’ individual needs, interests, and abilities
• Strong commitment to compassionate, resident‑centered customer service
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including assisting with resident transfers (50+ lbs.)
