Job summary

Caring Hospice Services seeks a Certified Nurse’s Aide (CNA) to provide compassionate home-based hospice care across Newton and surrounding areas. The role involves day shifts, travel to patient homes, and collaboration with the care team to maintain patient comfort and safety.

Applicants must have CNA/Hospice Aide licensure, strong communication skills, and the ability to record vitals while following infection control protocols. Mileage reimbursement is offered.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Hospice Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of medical office procedures
• Experience in providing care for patients in various settings
• Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families
• Knowledge of infection control procedures and safety protocols
• Physical ability to lift and move patients safely
