Job summary

Brookstone Estates, Emerald Glen, & Grand Victorian in Vandalia, IL is seeking a part-time CNA to provide care aligned with each resident’s care plan. You will assist with ADLs, promote independence, and ensure dignity in daily interactions.

You’ll report health changes to the clinical team and engage residents and families with compassion while attending ongoing training sessions and staff meetings. Confidentiality and professionalism are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Current CNA certification from an accredited program.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.

Salary Range: $17.25 - $17.50 Hourly

Shift: 2nd shift

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional and individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan
• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and maintaining dignity
• Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team
• Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience
• Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences
• Comply with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information
• Perform any other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED equivalent required
• Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity
