Job summary

Heritage Woods of Benton in Benton, IL is seeking a Part Time CNA on the 3rd shift to provide compassionate, resident-centered care in alignment with each resident’s plan. You will assist with daily activities, maintain dignity, and promptly report health changes to the clinical team.

The role emphasizes confidentiality, ongoing learning, and participation in staff meetings, with opportunities for advancement and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Current CNA certification required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Must demonstrate compassion, love and dignity in service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized care per resident care plan.
• Assist with ADLs while promoting independence and dignity.
• Report health status changes to clinical team.
• Engage with residents and families compassionately.
• Participate in educational seminars, staff meetings and other learning activities.
• Maintain confidentiality and privacy of resident information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional and individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan
• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and maintaining dignity
• Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team
• Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience
• Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences
• Comply with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information
• Perform any other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School graduate or GED equivalent required
• Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity
