Job summary

St. Mary's Health & Clearwater Valley Health in Cottonwood, Idaho is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to support nursing staff with patient care, hygiene, and comfort. The role is full-time on the night shift (36 hours per week) and requires basic duties under supervision.

Responsibilities include taking vital signs, assisting with meals and linens, providing nourishment as needed, and preparing supplies. BLS certification is required; high school diploma or GED preferred.

• Experience in patient care is preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.

Assists nursing service personnel with a variety of patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. Assists with personal hygiene, takes vital signs and changes bed linens. May serve and collect food trays, provide for between-meal nourishment, and clean, sterilize, store and prepare other supplies. Has knowledge of commonly used concept, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the function of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of experience that is directly related is preferred.
• BLS Required. Current AHA Healthcare provider, American Red Cross, AHA Health Saver.

Full time, Nightshift, 36 hours per week
