Job summary

St. Mary's Health & Clearwater Valley Health in Idaho is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support patient care during night shift. You will assist with personal hygiene, vital signs, meals, and basic tasks under supervision; BLS required; full-time 36 hours.

Responsibilities include helping patients with daily living activities, maintaining a clean environment, and following established procedures to ensure comfort and safety for those in care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of experience directly related to the position.
• BLS Required: Current AHA Healthcare Provider certification, American Red Cross or AHA Health Saver.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing service personnel with patient care activities and personal needs.
• Take vital signs, change bed linens, serve and collect food trays, provide between-meal nourishment.
• Clean, sterilize, store, and prepare supplies and follows guidelines under supervision.

Assists nursing service personnel with a variety of patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. Assists with personal hygiene, takes vital signs, changes bed linens, serves and collects food trays, provides between‑meal nourishment, cleans, sterilizes, stores, and prepares other supplies. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre‑established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision and performs other related duties as assigned.
