Job summary

Seabury at Pomperaug Woods in Southbury, CT is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the evening shift (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM). Full-time (32 hours) or part-time (24 hours) positions available in a compassionate senior living community.

You will provide hands-on care, assist residents with daily activities, monitor conditions, and document care. We value teamwork, resident-centered care, and opportunities for growth in a supportive CARES culture.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut CNA certification and active registry status.
• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to document care using a computer.
• Previous long-term care or senior living experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care and support to residents with dignity and respect.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Answer call lights and respond promptly to needs.
• Monitor and report changes in resident conditions.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and dining services.
• Record care provided and resident observations.
• Support a warm, homelike environment and community activities.

Full-Time CNA

• 32 hours per week

What You'll Do

As a CNA, you will provide hands‑on care and support to residents while promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility

• Monitoring and reporting changes in resident conditions

• Helping create a warm, homelike environment
• Encouraging resident participation in activities and daily routines
• Working as part of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to exceptional care
