Job summary

Essex Meadows in Connecticut is seeking hospitality focused CNAs to join our skilled nursing team. The role supports residents with personal care, maintains safety, and participates in daily activities, under supervision.

This position offers part-time shifts (evenings or days) with a competitive hourly wage. We provide comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) with company match, generous PTO, tuition scholarships, and Daily Pay.

Qualifications

• Current CT Certified Nurse Aide certification.
• Minimum of six months to one year of CNA experience.
• Ability to build rapport with patients.

Responsibilities

• Cares for the overall resident personal hygiene and ADL functioning.
• Provide compassionate care while encouraging residents toward independence.
• Encourage participation in facility functions and assist with transport, transfers, escorts, and supervision.
• Maintain a clean, orderly resident environment and report needed repairs.
• Answer signal lights promptly.
• Chart care using electronic medical records.
• Report assessments or observations of changes in resident condition timely and accurately.
• Maintain residents’ safety and rights per policies and regulations.

Pay:$23-25 /hr., plus shift differential when applicable

Shifts Available Within Skilled Nursing:

• Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM (Evenings)
• Part-Time, Every Other Weekend, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (Days)

Essex Meadowsisseeking hospitality focused CNAs to join our dedicated team within our Skilled Nursing Facility.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Cares for the overall resident personal hygiene and ADL (activities of daily living) functioning.
• Must provide compassionate care yet encourage residents to their maximum level of independence under the direction of nursing supervisors.
• Encourages participation in functions of the facility and to transport, transfer, escort, supervise, and/or lend assistance as necessary.
• Maintains resident environment in a clean, orderly condition and reports any needed repair or cleaning.
• Answers signal lights promptly.
• Chart care performed using electronic medical records.
• Reports all assessments or observations of changes in resident condition in an accurate, timely manner and to document appropriately.
• Maintains residents’ safety and residents’ rights and performs duties in accordance with the policies of the facility, state and federal regulations, and as instructed by supervisors and the Director of Nursing Services.

Attends in-service training, educational seminars, and staff meetings as needed to stay abreast of current nursing changes and new policies as required by the department.

Qualifications:
