Job summary

Trillium Woods in Plymouth, MN is recruiting hospitality-focused CNAs for part-time and full-time roles within a Life Plan Community on 46 acres. You will assist residents with personal care, mealtime, and documentation in a supportive, team-centered environment that values your contribution.

The role requires a state-approved geriatric CNA program, ability to follow instructions in English, and good teamwork.

Qualifications

• Completion of a state-approved geriatric CNA training program.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, documents care accurately.
• 2–3 years of long-term care, transitional care and memory care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, etc.) per policy.
• Assist residents with mealtime.
• Complete and document shift assignments; report to nursing supervisor if unable to complete.
• Communicate with residents, families, Department Heads and the Director of Resident Services when needed.
• Provide activities as planned and/or directed.
• Respond to call lights and emergencies in a timely manner.

Trillium Woods is currently recruiting for hospitality focused CNAs. We offer full-time and part-time opportunities.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist all residents/clients with a high quality of personal care, including but not limited to; bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinent care, foot care, vital signs, height and weight checks per policy.
• Assist residents with mealtime.
• Complete and document shift assignments as assigned, if unable to complete, report to nursing supervisor.
• Communicate to residents, families, Department Heads and the Director of Resident Services when needed.
• Provide activities as planned and/or directed.
• Respond to call lights and emergencies in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Successful completion of a State approved geriatric nursing assistant training program. Prior geriatric nursing aide experience is preferred. Registration with State registry required.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicates effectively, and performs simple arithmetic. Ability to document care given.
• Open minded and flexible in meeting the needs and desires of the resident and their families.
• A desire to learn about the residents by observing their behavior and listening to them.
• A desire to have a voice in the care and concerns of the resident
• A desire to be a good team member and show respect of other team members.
• Thinks of new ideas and fun activities that will interest the residents.
• 2-3 years of long-term care, transitional care and memory care experience preferred.

All new hires must be able to pass our preemployment screening process, which includes a criminal background check, drug test, tuberculosis skin test and employment references as required by a licensed residential care facility.
