Job summary

Trillium Woods in Plymouth, MN seeks hospitality-focused CNAs to provide high-quality personal care and support for residents on a part-time basis. You will assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and daily activities while maintaining safety and dignity for residents.

The role requires completion of a state-approved geriatric nursing assistant program and active state registration. English communication, teamwork, and careful documentation are essential in this supportive environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and incontinent care.

• Complete and document shift assignments; notify supervisor if unable to complete tasks.
• Communicate with residents, families, and department heads as needed.
• Provide planned activities and respond to call lights and emergencies promptly.

Trillium Woods is currently recruiting for hospitality focused CNAs. We offer full-time and part-time opportunities.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist all residents/clients with a high quality of personal care, including but not limited to; bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinent care, foot care, vital signs, height and weight checks per policy.
• Assist residents with mealtime.
• Complete and document shift assignments as assigned, if unable to complete, report to nursing supervisor.
• Communicate to residents, families, Department Heads and the Director of Resident Services when needed.
• Provide activities as planned and/or directed.
• Respond to call lights and emergencies in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Successful completion of a State approved geriatric nursing assistant training program. Prior geriatric nursing aide experience is preferred. Registration with State registry required.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicates effectively, and performs simple arithmetic. Ability to document care given.
• Open minded and flexible in meeting the needs and desires of the resident and their families.
• A desire to learn about the residents by observing their behavior and listening to them.
• A desire to have a voice in the care and concerns of the resident
• A desire to be a good team member and show respect of other team members.
• Thinks of new ideas and fun activities that will interest the residents.
• 2-3 years of long-term care, transitional care and memory care experience preferred.

All new hires must be able to pass our preemployment screening process, which includes a criminal background check, drug test, tuberculosis skin test and employment references as required by a licensed residential care facility.
