Apple Rehab Ledgecrest in Avon, CT is seeking a compassionate CNA to support residents with daily living activities including bathing, grooming, and mobility. Join a family‑oriented team committed to high‑quality care and resident well‑being.

Starting pay ranges from $20-$23 per hour with shift differentials; available shifts include 7a-3p, 3p-11p, 11p-7a, and per diem. Per diem staff are expected to fulfill two weekend shifts monthly with generous benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must hold current CNA certification in good standing.
• No history of patient/resident abuse as per State Registry.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and following oral and written instructions.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent follow-through, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Team player with good cooperation and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude towards residents and their support networks.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents in daily bathing, grooming, dental care, bowel and bladder functions, dressing, walking and wheelchair use.
• Documents personal care given according to facility policies; performs nursing functions as directed.
• Observes and reports changes in residents’ condition to supervisor.
• Reports accidents or injuries immediately; records chart entries.
• Answers call lights and responds to emergencies calmly and efficiently.

Job Opportunity: CNA Certified Nursing Assistant

Starting Pay:

Competitive rates ranging from $20-$23, based on experience

Differentials Offered:

• Shift Differentials for 2nd and 3rd shifts and weekends
• Additional Shifts Differential: Extra $5.00/hour for any shifts worked outside scheduled hours

Available Shifts:

• 7a-3p
• 3pm-11pm
• 11pm-7am
• Per Diem

Responsibilities:

Assists residents in daily bathing, grooming, dental care, bowel and bladder functions, dressing, walking and wheelchair use, positioning in and out of bed. C.N.A. Certified Nurse’s Assistant documents personal care given according to facility policies. Provides nursing functions as directed including perineal care, making beds, turning residents, measures and records temperature, weight, pulse and respiration. C.N.A. Certified Nurse’s Assistant observes and reports to supervisor changes in residents’ condition, including any skin breakdowns. Reports immediately all accidents or injuries. Records all necessary charting entries. Answers all call lights regardless of assignment. Responds to emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
