Apple Rehab Shelton Lakes is a 106-bed skilled nursing facility nestled on eight acres of wooded terrain. It is renowned as the area's premier provider of short-term rehabilitation, offering compassionate care in a modern healing environment.

The facility advertises competitive rates starting at $20 per hour, with shift differentials for 2nd and 3rd shifts and weekends. Available shifts include 7-3 full-time (32 hours) and 3-11 part-time (8 hours/week every other weekend).

Qualifications

• Must hold current CNA certification in good standing.
• No history of patient/resident abuse as per State Registry.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and following oral and written instructions.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent follow-through, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Team player with good cooperation and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude towards residents and their support networks.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents in daily bathing, grooming, dental care, bowel and bladder functions, dressing, walking and wheelchair use, positioning in and out of bed.
• C.N.A. Certified Nurse’s Assistant documents personal care given according to facility policies and reports changes to supervisor.
• Observes and reports changes in residents’ condition, including skin breakdowns; reports accidents or injuries; records charting entries.
• Answers all call lights and responds to emergency situations calmly and efficiently.

Job Opportunity:

CNA Certified Nursing Assistant

Starting Pay:

Competitive rates starting at $20, based on experience

Differentials Offered:

• Shift Differentials for 2nd and 3rd shifts and weekends
• Additional Shifts Differential: Extra $5.00/hour for any shifts worked outside scheduled hours

Available Shifts:

7-3 Full-time 32 hours

3-11 Part-time 8 Hours/week Every Other Weekend

Responsibilities:

Assists residents in daily bathing, grooming, dental care, bowel and bladder functions, dressing, walking and wheelchair use, positioning in and out of bed. C.N.A. Certified Nurse’s Assistant documents personal care given according to facility policies. Provides nursing functions as directed including perineal care, making beds, turning residents, measures and records temperature, weight, pulse and respiration. C.N.A. Certified Nurse’s Assistant observes and reports to supervisor changes in residents’ condition, including any skin breakdowns. Reports immediately all accidents or injuries. Records all necessary charting entries. Answers all call lights regardless of assignment. Responds to emergency situations calmly and efficiently.

Additional Expectations:

Per diem staff are expected to fulfill (2) weekend shifts monthly to meet requirements.
