Job summary

Preferred Care at Hamilton is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents across inpatient and long-term care settings in New Jersey. You will assist nursing staff with daily care tasks, ensuring comfort and wellbeing for residents.

Responsibilities include observing residents, reporting health issues, aiding with personal hygiene, feeding, and maintaining clean, safe spaces while upholding confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must hold CNA certification as required by state.
• Familiarity with basic medical terminology is essential.
• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health challenges is advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, including ICU settings if required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to help others.

Responsibilities

• Observing Residents.

• Setting up meal trays and documenting food/fluid intake.
• Feeding Residents and providing nutritional supplements.
• Making beds and keeping Resident spaces clean and tidy.
• Transporting Residents within the Facility.
• Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores.
• Maintaining confidentiality of all Resident and Facility data.
