Freeman Health System on the Freeman Hospital West sixth floor ICU Step-Down Unit is seeking a CNA to deliver bedside nursing care under supervision for high-acuity patients. The unit emphasizes patient-centered care and a strong focus on the why behind nursing actions.

Nights with 32 and 40 hours per week are available; successful orientation and required trainings must be completed per program timelines.

Qualifications

• Active Missouri CNA license is required.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 60 days.
• Must successfully pass Patient Care Orientation (PCO) within 30 days of hire.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training (CPI) within 365 days.
• NT Competency Day annually by transcript due date.

20-bed ICU step-down unit, which provides care for high acuity patients that require close monitoring

What You’ll Do

Under the direction/supervision of a nurse, provides basic nursing care needs for assigned patients.

Requirements

• Active Missouri Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 60 days.
