Altea Healthcare in Mississippi is seeking a Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a part-time, weekend PRN role in post-acute care. You will work as a key clinical provider in a skilled nursing facility, diagnosing, treating, and guiding patients to better health.

Qualifications

• Active NP license or eligibility to obtain in Mississippi.
• DEA registration or willingness to obtain before start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical exams and review medical histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.).
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Prescribe medications and create treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and facility staff.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and preventive care.
• Document care accurately and efficiently.

What You’ll Do:

As a Certified NP, you will be a key clinical provider in a skilled nursing facility, diagnosing, treating, and guiding patients to better health. No two days are the same!
