Job summary

Altea Healthcare is seeking a Certified NP for a part-time role across two Jacksonville facilities. You will diagnose, treat, and guide patients in post-acute and skilled nursing care, with daily responsibilities including exams, tests, and care planning.

You'll work in a collaborative team with ongoing education and training to support career growth, with a schedule that balances weekdays and weekends and travel between sites.

Qualifications

• NP license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Current DEA registration or willingness to obtain prior to start date
• All experience levels welcome – training and mentorship provided
• Passion for geriatrics, internal medicine, or primary care

Responsibilities

• Performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.).
• Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions.
• Prescribing medications and creating treatment plans.
• Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and facility staff.
• Educating patients and families on health conditions and preventive care.
• Documenting patient care accurately and efficiently

What You’ll Do:
