Job summary

Altea Healthcare is seeking a Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a part-time role in a post-acute, skilled nursing setting. Qualifications

• Active NP license (FL) required or eligible.
• DEA registration or willingness to obtain prior to start date.
• Training & mentorship available for new grads.
• Experience in geriatrics, internal medicine, or primary care preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical exams and review patient histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging).
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Prescribe medications and create treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and facility staff.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and preventive care.
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently.

What You'll Do:

As a Certified NP, you will be a key clinical provider in a skilled nursing facility, diagnosing, treating, and guiding patients to better health. No two days are the same!

Your daily responsibilities include:
