Altea Healthcare is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant-Certified to join our California team in a post-acute, skilled nursing facility. You will diagnose, treat, and counsel patients, order tests, prescribe medications, and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes primary and acute care, regulatory compliance, and ongoing clinical education to improve patient outcomes in a post-acute setting.

Qualificações

• Must have valid PA license in California.
• Experience in post-acute, skilled nursing, or geriatric settings is preferred.
• Strong communication and patient education abilities.

As a non-physician provider, you are the go-to person for ensuring the best patient care and medical guidance is achieved. The job description includes conducting physical examinations, interpreting lab tests and overseeing patients’ health. You are both a health practitioner and an educator, supporting disease prevention practices and helping people lead healthy lives. You should have experience in one of the following specialties: acute care, family health or geriatrics. Extensive clinical experience in primary care is vital. As a provider, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals, so you should have a team spirit and a positive attitude. Patience, problem-solving, and good communication skills are important. Requirements:
