Job summary

Community Health Centers of America in California seeks a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our primary care clinic in Fair Oaks. This is a full-time role, five days per week, delivering comprehensive primary care in a community-focused setting.

You will educate patients, maintain records, and participate in quality assurance while using Electronic Health Records. CA NP or PA license and 1 year of community clinic experience preferred; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree from a recognized university.
• CA NP or PA license.
• 1 year experience, preferably in community clinic.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, educational patient care within standards of California Medical & Nursing Boards.
• Educate patients about diagnoses, treatment and prognosis.
• Provide services per accepted medical standards and organizational policies.
• Maintain complete, accurate medical records per protocols.
• Participate in quality assurance, peer review and utilization review as assigned.

We are looking for the provider to work with us full time (5 days/week) at our primary care clinic located in Fair Oaks. Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, educational experience for patients while upholding the standard of care per the Medical & Nursing Boards of California.
• Educate patients regarding their diagnoses, treatment and prognosis.
• Provide all services in accordance with accepted medical standards, organizational policies, contractual requirements, and in a manner that is responsive to the needs of all patients.
• Maintain complete, accurate and legible medical records according to established protocols
• Participate in quality assurance, peer review and utilization review activities as assigned.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:
