Job summary

La Clinica de Familia (LCDF) is a Federally Qualified Health Center providing medical, dental, behavioral health and educational services across Southern New Mexico. The role focuses on delivering direct primary care to LCDF patients in compliance with laws and clinical guidelines.

Ideal candidates will be Nurse Practitioners licensed in NM, with board certification in primary care, DEA and NM Pharmacy credentials, and a willingness to work in a community-focused, multi-location setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed by the NM Board of Nursing to practice, or eligible for licensure.
• Board Certification in a primary care specialty.
• DEA certification
• NM Board of Pharmacy certification
• Current NM Driver's License and automobile insurance
• Graduate from Nurse Practitioner program.
• Additional training in Primary Care preferred (e.g., diabetes education, women's health).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct primary care services to LCDF patients within legal scope and guidelines.
• Maintain effective working relationships with staff and departments.
• Communicate clearly with patients and staff; educate patients about health and treatment plans.
• Maintain confidentiality and high standards of organization and accuracy.
• Demonstrate cultural competence with the Hispanic population.

Job Summary

Provides direct primary care health services to LCDF patients within the scope of laws and regulations.
