Job summary

DAP Health seeks a skilled Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join the Desert Hot Springs Specialty Care Center. You will deliver patient-centered care under physician direction, contributing to a team focused on health equity and compassionate service.

The role requires an NP/PA license in California, a Master's degree, and BLS; on-site work with a nonprofit mission to serve vulnerable communities.

Qualifications

• Required Skills/Abilities include visual acuity and manual dexterity to interface with the computer and perform medical procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of individuals both internally and externally.
• Maintain CMEs/CEUs required for licensure.

Responsibilities

• Triage new and existing patients, assess, diagnose, and treat as appropriate within scope.
• Provide direct healthcare services under supervision of physicians.
• Order medications and perform/interpret laboratory tests as part of health management.
• Adhere to established guidelines and complete clinical records promptly.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and continuing medical education.
