North Shore Associates in Gynecology and Obstetrics is expanding and seeking a full-time Certified Nurse Midwife to join a six CNMs group (5.25 FTE). The position includes office work at Wilmette and Glenview locations and attending births at North Shore Hospital in Evanston.

Emphasis on physiological birth, VBAC success, and low Cesarean rate. Responsibilities include full-scope midwifery care, patient assessments, ordering tests, prescriptions, and interdepartmental coordination.

Qualifikationen

• Full-scope CNM providing gynecologic, prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and primary care

Aufgaben

• Provide full-scope midwifery care including gynecology, contraception, prenatal and intrapartum services.
• Conduct health histories and physical exams; write prescriptions and perform procedures as within scope.
• Order and interpret labs; coordinate discharge planning and follow-up care.
• Attend deliveries at North Shore Hospital; participate in team meetings and ongoing education
