Job summary

North Shore Associates in Gynecology and Obstetrics is expanding and seeks a full-time Certified Nurse Midwife to join our group, ideally at 1.0 FTE. We serve Wilmette and Glenview with births at North Shore Hospital in Evanston.

Qualifications

• Full scope midwifery experience is preferred.
• Illinois APRN license and AMCB certification required.
• DEA License and Controlled Substance license.
• Current CPR/NRP certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope midwifery care including gynecological, prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and primary care.
• Conduct comprehensive health assessments and perform advanced physical examinations.
• Order and interpret tests, coordinate with physicians, and manage care plans.
• Coordinate inpatient care and discharge planning with patients and the care team.
• Schedule follow-up visits and participate in monthly team meetings.
