Brown University Health is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to deliver direct clinical care in outpatient and inpatient settings, collaborating with physicians and Senior CNMs to cover full midwifery scope including well-woman gynecology and contraception management.

The role involves managing high-risk pregnancies in consultation with obstetricians, providing patient and family education, and supporting birth and postpartum care within a major health system that includes a Level I Trauma

Competenze

• Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) required.
• American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB) required.
• Current State of RI Midwifery Licensure and controlled substance registration required.

Mansioni

• Diagnoses, monitors and examines women during pregnancy.
• Develops, assesses and evaluates individual care programs.
• Provides full antenatal care, including screening tests.
• Identifies high risk pregnancies working in collaboration with doctors.
• Arranges parenting and health education for the woman and family.
• Encourages participation of family in birth and bonding.
