Millie is hiring a Certified Nurse-Midwife (0.8–0.9 FTE) to deliver full-scope obstetrics and gynecology care in a warm, clinic-based setting with hospital partnerships. You will guide perinatal patients, supported by a Millie Guide and digital education tools, including the app and perinatal curriculum.

Qualificações

• 1+ years of experience as a midwife in a full-scope setting.
• Active CNM license in CA and AMCB certification.
• NRP and BLS certifications up to date.
• Bilingual skills and/or additional trainings (e.g., ultrasound, lactation) are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide full-scope midwifery care during antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum at our clinic, hospital partner, and virtually.
• Provide basic gynecology services including contraception, STIs, vaginitis, and annual preventative care exams.
• Provide medication abortion services.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, nurses, doulas, nutritionists, therapists, and other team members.
• Communicate effectively with patients via in-person and Millie app interactions.
• Example 0.8 FTE part-time schedule: two 12-hour L&D calls from home (one 24-hour shift) and one 8-hour clinic day per week.

About the role

We’re looking for a 0.8-0.9 FTE (32-36hr/wk) Certified Nurse-Midwife to deliver full-scope obstetrics and gynecology care. Our perinatal patients are emotionally and educationally supported as they are paired with a Millie Guide (practicing doula) who prepares them for childbirth, postpartum, chest/breastfeeding and newborn care. Our patients also have access to the Millie app, which includes an AI messaging tool and a robust perinatal curriculum to accompany your clinical care. Your responsibilities

• Provide full-scope midwifery care during antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum at our clinic, hospital partner, and virtually.
• Provide basic gynecology services such as contraception, STIs, vaginitis, and annual preventative care exams.
• Provide medication abortion services.
• Collaborate with other team members (e.g., obstetricians, nurses, doulas, nutritionists, therapists, etc.).
• Communicate effectively with patients during and between appointments to ensure questions are answered and concerns are addressed by leveraging Millie’s app and technology.
• Example 0.8 FTE part-time schedule: approximately two 12hr L&D calls from home (can be done in one 24hr shift) & one 8hr clinic day/week.

About you

Qualifications

• An active Certified Nurse-Midwife license in the state of CA and certification by the AMCB. LMs/CPMs are encouraged to contact us if interested in working with Millie as we will have future opportunities.
• NRP and BLS certification up to date.
• Skills/training in the following areas are a plus: bilingual, motivational interviewing, early pregnancy confirmation and dating ultrasound, lactation certifications, nutrition/diabetes training, cesarean first assist, and/or teaching movement or meditation practices.
